TNG Hams Quiz Show
The Next Gen Hams Quiz Show held on January 29, 2006, was an entertaining and educational
event for both the kids and adults who participated. Questions from the license tests were
challenging and created some laughs as contestants debated the answers. The kids proved that playing
a lot of video games can pay off, as most of the time they were the fastest at the buzzer.
Due to their hard work studying for the event, the kids’ team won the team competition, and Connor, age 12, was the highest individual scorer. Quiz Show was certainly a fun way to show off what everyone knew about ham radio, and encouraged many of the participants to become licensed hams.
