The FRRL offers multi-week classes throughout the year at no charge for people wishing to prepare for their first amateur radio license or for a license upgrade.

The Fox River Radio League will be holding a free five (5) class course where you can learn everything you need to earn your First Technician Class Amateur Radio License.

This class is designed for people with no background in radio but are interested in getting their technician class license.  The test is a 35 question multiple choice written test.  Morse Code is no longer required.  ANYONE is invited to join the class or "sit in" as a refresher.

The textbook for the class will be The ARRL Ham Radio License Manual, Third Edition. Be sure you have a copy for class. Books can be purchased online through www.arrl.org at local ham-fests or several other online sources.
