The indoor sales area will house 45 tables full of bargains and information. Confirmed vendors include Amateur Accessories, American Science and Surplus, Gold Medal Ideas, RF Adaptor Guy, and numerous private sellers. Information tables will be staffed by ARRL, AMSAT, ARES, NWS, and FRRL's own Elmers.

A VE session will begin at 10 a.m.
A youth lounge, open from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. will feature activities for future hams, including:
• See if you are smarter than a technician
• Learn and practice sending Morse code
• Learn the phonetic alphabet, just like ham radio operators
• Scavenger hunt
• Fox hunt

Fox River Radio League Hamfest will be held Sunday, July 14th from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Aurora Central Catholic High School, 1255 N. Edgelawn Dr. in Aurora.
Featured again this year will be our outdoor flea market and indoor vendor area, both offering new and used amateur and electronics equipment. You’ll also have an opportunity to attend how-to seminars, get your questions answered at our Ask The Elmers booth, and have your QSL cards verified by an ARRL card checker. We’ll have an onsite food vendor offering breakfast and lunch items, hourly door prizes, and a grand prize raffle awarding $250, $150 and $50 to the first, second and third place winners.
Our VE test session begins at 10 a.m. for those wishing to upgrade or to test for the first license. The venue offers handicap access and free parking in a paved lot.
Tickets are $6 in advance and $8 at the gate. Children under 16 will be admitted free. Indoor tables are available for $10 each and must be reserved by June 21st.
